5 Days – Masai Mara – Lake Nakuru – Lake Naivasha Budget Safari

After breakfast, you will depart with picnic lunch boxes for a full-day game viewing in the Masai Mara Game Reserve. A Masai Mara safari is an unmissable highlight of any holiday in Kenya holiday. Millions of zebra and wildebeest make the perilous crossing across the Masai Mara in search of new grazing territory. And in their wake comes a veritable horde of predators including lion and leopard. Early morning pre-breakfast game drive. After breakfast, depart the Mara region for Nakuru, lunch en route, with scenic views of Mt. Longmont, Lake Naivasha, and Lake Elementaita from afar on the main highway. You will arrive in Nakuru town in the evening. Dinner and overnight are budget hotels.

After breakfast, you will proceed on a game drive in Lake Nakuru Park, known for its prolific birdlife including flamingos. The park contains a sanctuary for the conservation of the white rhino while species like Cape Buffalo and Waterbuck can be seen near the shoreline–enjoy a hot lunch and drive to Naivasha–you have an option optional of boat ride  Or visit the crescent island,  in this freshwater lake to go and see hippos and fish eagles at an extra cost. . After breakfast, have a nature walk in the Hell’s Gate National Park. You may hire bicycles to cycle in this only. There are over 100 species of birds in the park, including vultures, Verreaux’s Eagles, Augur Buzzard, and Swifts. African Buffalo, Zebra, Eland, Hartebeest, Thomson’s Gazelle, and Baboons are also common. The park is also home to Klipspringer Antelope and Chanler’s Mountain Reedbuck the park has attractions like the Olkaria and Hobley’s, two extinct volcanoes, and the obsidian forms from the cool molten lava. Within Hell’s Gate is the Hells Gate Gorge, lined with red cliffs which contain two volcanic plugs. Later Drive to Nairobi you will have lunch served enroute arriving in Nairobi in the late afternoon you will drop at the airport for your flight.
